WASHINGTON — The U.S. Justice Department said on Friday it has
scheduled the first federal execution of a woman in almost 70
years, setting a Dec. 8 date to put to death Lisa Montgomery,
convicted of a 2004 murder.

Montgomery, who was found guilty of strangling a pregnant woman
in Missouri, will be executed by lethal injection at U.S.
Penitentiary Terre Haute, Indiana, the department said in a
statement.

The last woman to be executed by the U.S. government was Bonnie
Heady, who was put to death in a gas chamber in Missouri in
1953, according to the Death Penalty Information Center.

Stevie Nicks considers Ruth Bader Ginsburg her role model, but
should she consider the example of Amy Coney Barrett?

By Hollywood standards, Stevie Nicks is not especially
politically outspoken, but there is one Washington figure who
made a deep impression on her: the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
"She was my hero. She fought for me, and all women," Nicks wrote
on Twitter when the long-serving Supreme Court Justice succumbed
to cancer last month. "She was a political rock star." Nicks
doesn't specify what made Ginsburg her hero, but it isn't hard
to guess. In the eyes of the moderately well-informed citizen,
Ginsburg equals "women's rights," especially abortion rights.

Nicks has availed herself of this right four times.

WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump slammed Michigan Gov.
Gretchen Whitmer during a rally in the state Saturday, prompting
repeated chants of "lock her up" from the crowd weeks after the
FBI foiled a kidnapping plot aimed at the Democratic leader.

"Be careful of her and her attorney general because you know
they're like in charge of the ballot stuff," Trump said during a
rally in Muskegon, Michigan. "How the hell do I put my political
and our country's political life in the hands of a pure partisan
like that?"

Former President Bill Clinton was a guest at Jeffrey Epstein's
private Caribbean island, according to testimony from an Epstein
accuser which was unsealed on Thursday.

Virginia Giuffre — who has also accused Epstein's alleged madam
Ghislaine Maxwell of abusing her — told lawyers in 2011 that
Clinton visited Epstein's private Little St. James Island with
Maxwell, herself and "two young girls" from New York.

She added that Clinton stayed in Epstein's private residence on
the island, where "orgies were a constant thing that took place."

Giuffre recalled being surprised to see the former president on
the island.

"I remember asking Jeffrey what's Bill Clinton doing here kind
of thing, and he laughed it off and said well he owes me a
favor," Giuffre said.

"He never told me what favors they were. I never knew. I didn't
know if he was serious. It was just a joke," she said.

Giuffre said Clinton also traveled on Epstein's private plane
and noted how other famous people, including Clinton's vice
president, Al Gore, and models Naomi Campbell and Heidi Klum
were aboard at one point when she was.

"Just about anybody would fly on his plane. There was never any
set routine who would come and would go. It was an influx of
people on Jeffrey's airplane," said Giuffre.

There were also "orgies" held on Epstein's plane, Giuffre said.

Frequently, Giuffre said, she would be on the plane with Epstein
and Maxwell when the sexual encounters occurred.

"There would be sexual conduct, there would be foreplay, there
was a bed in there, so we could basically reenact exactly what
was happening in the house," Giuffre said.

"It would start off with massaging or we would start off with
foreplay, sometimes it would lead to, you know, orgies."

The details revealed Thursday night were included in docs from a
2015 civil defamation lawsuit against Maxwell by Giuffre ordered
released by a Manhattan judge last week.

Joe Biden is a career liar and he lied some more in the debate,
for instance when he dismissed the now well-supported New York
Post story about Hunter Biden's business dealing as "a Russian
plant." There is zero evidence for this. He offered this line:

There are 50 former national intelligence folks who said what
he's accusing me of is a Russian plant. Five former heads of the
CIA — both parties — say what he's saying is a bunch of garbage.
Nobody believes it except him and his good friend Rudy Giuliani.

There were some headlines from Biden-friendly media to this
effect, but this is a gross mischaracterization of the letter
from ex-CIA chief John Brennan et al, which merely asserted that
the Hunter Biden story sounded like a Russian disinformation op,
not that there was any evidence for this. The relevant portion
reads:

We want to emphasize that we do not know if the emails, provided
to the New York Post by President Trump's personal attorney Rudy
Giuliani, are genuine or not and that we do not have evidence of
Russian involvement" [But] there are a number of factors that
make us suspicious of Russian involvement.

Biden's lie about fracking — "I never said I opposed fracking" —
was so egregious that even CNN's Daniel Dale mentioned it in his
after-action report. Biden has repeatedly suggested banning
fracking, sometimes specifying new fracking, sometimes
specifying on federal lands (where a lot of fracking takes
place), and has even promised to "get rid of fossil fuels."

Biden claimed, "There is no evidence that when you raise the
minimum wage, businesses go out of business. That is simply not
true." Here's a Washington Post story citing exactly that
evidence.

"Drain The Swamp" <socialist-asshats@facebook.com>: Jan 08 08:20AM +0100

Journalists had a rare chance to ask Joe Biden a few questions
Wednesday and — of course — failed to ask him anything about his
knowledge of his son's business dealings.

Even though former ally Tony Bobulinski gave sitdown interviews
with Fox News and The Post's Michael Goodwin outlining in detail
his evidence disproving Joe's repeated claims of lifelong
ignorance of son Hunter's profitable affairs.

And even though Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey was testifying to the
Senate about the company's censoring of stories about the
Bidens. Two big developments that the press felt wasn't worthy
of mention.

What questions should media be asking Joe Biden, nonstop?

For starters: Why did you talk to Bobulinski — twice in 24
hours? Hunter introduced him as "the one who's helping us with
the business we're doing with the Chinese" — how does that not
debunk your claim that you never discussed that business with
Hunter or your brother Jim?

What did you mean when you told Tony, "I trust you," and, the
next day, "Look out for my family"? Did it in fact have
something to do with the 10 percent of the deal's profits that
the partners discussed reserving for "the big guy"?

No one in Biden's family or campaign has denied that Joe was who
the partners meant by "the big guy." They merely issue blanket
condemnations of The Post's reporting on these scandals.

Bobulinski has e-mails, texts, photos, witnesses, receipts and
other documents to back up his claims. He's shared everything
with the FBI and Senate investigators.

He stepped up after the likes of Rep. Adam Schiff and various
media ostriches and Big Tech would-be censors suggested The
Post's exposés from Hunter's laptop were really nothing but
Russian disinformation. He also notes that no one from Facebook
or Twitter has reached out to check his claims and The Post's
reporting, even though both social-media companies have actively
suppressed the damning-to-Joe-Biden news.

Bobulinski emphasizes that the Biden group recruited him to
start the China deal back in 2015, while Joe was still vice
president — and that Hunter said the Chinese already owed the
Biden family tens of millions at that point.

And of course Hunter's and Jim's merchandizing of Joe's
influence goes back decades, involving far more that Hunter's
lucrative payments from Burisma.

Which leads to a few more questions for Joe Biden: How can you
claim you didn't know that, for decades, Jim and Hunter traded
on promises they could influence you? Or that, after you became
vice president, they took that sleaze global? Are you so
ignorant of how things work that you really believed they earned
millions in fields where they had zero expertise, when their
only asset was . . . you?

If Joe Biden had answers to any of this, he'd surely speak up.
Instead, it looks like he'll keep dodging through Election Day —
and, shockingly, he can count on his allies in the press and Big
Tech to keep the scandal as low-profile as possible.

It's a disinformation campaign, all right — to protect Biden.
